Edgar was very friendly and informative! I was initially a bit apprehensive about the hike since I had recently recovered from some health problems, but it was truly an easy hike! There was a 12-15 minute walk on flat terrain to the viewing point of the glacier, and then we put on the crampons and hiked up onto the glacier. The walk up to the glacier had some moderate inclines, but the terrain was well-trodden, easy, and we took frequent breaks. The pace was set by the slowest person on in the group (we had a group of 14 people in total), and so it was very easy. On the glacier, Edgar helped us take pictures and gave us interesting information about the glacier and how it's changing over the years. We also had a chance to eat some ice and drink the running glacier waters. Great experience. Thanks Edgar!
